New Edison Lights and Energie Multisport are joining forces to improve building performance and playing conditions at indoor sports facilities.
Lighting and HVAC systems directly affect the player experience—and represent some of the largest operating expenses for indoor pickleball and padel facilities.
A new partnership between New Edison Lights and Energie Multisport aims to help facility owners improve both.
New Edison Lights specializes in LED sports lighting, lighting controls, photometric planning, retrofits and utility rebates. Energie Multisport provides HVAC controls, building automation, energy benchmarking, equipment scheduling and energy procurement.
By evaluating lighting, temperature controls, occupancy patterns and equipment schedules together, the companies can help operators identify wasted energy and prioritize practical improvements.
“Indoor sports facilities need low-glare lighting that supports player visibility while helping control long-term operating costs,” said Will Walker, owner of New Edison Lights.
The partnership may be especially helpful for franchises and multi-location operators seeking consistent lighting, HVAC and energy-management standards across their facilities. Projects could range from individual lighting or controls upgrades to larger facility-modernization plans.
The approach is already being used by Diadem Pickleball Complex as it expands across Florida.
“David and William have become our preferred lighting and HVAC providers, and that designation has been earned through performance,” said Rene Prats, co-founder of Diadem Pickleball Complex. “They approach projects as partners, not simply vendors.”
As competition increases, energy management is becoming more than a behind-the-scenes concern. Efficient lighting, smarter HVAC controls and better equipment scheduling can help facilities manage expenses while creating brighter courts, more comfortable temperatures and a better overall player experience.
